Fiddly battery location. Time to junk this piece of junk. I should have read the reviews. And the final straw - "no disc" now permanently displayed. I'm ashamed - I'm a designer, I've should have spotted these flaws. This is a bad product: Where to begin. Difficult to read, poorly positioned display, difficult to see and use control buttons.
When I finally got my own job, I shelled out 5 extra bucks and got something that was 10 times the quality of a $15 walkman. hahaha. I had one of these for 2+ years and it worked awesomely. I only had problems with skipping discs when my son decided that it was a great toy. I would recommend this to anyone as a great, inexpensive walkman. I'm actually going to buy another one just because i like it so much. I have had many personal cd players in the past that skipped for no reason and were totally horrible.

i made the mistake of ignoring the bad comments , bought it, and a week after is not working.don t waste your time and money dont buy this.
None of the buttons work, it was very poorly packeged, and the cd player itself looks very cheaply made which is probly why it falls apart. This was a refurbished item that was still broken when i got it.
